Welcome Yogi
Being a yoga teacher is a wonderful opportunity to practice your own Yoga in the World - the very goal of yoga practice.
It's about how you intuitively collaborate with others, share space and events, give them your full attention, listen deeply, look carefully and see not what you think is happening, but what is actually happening, moment to moment. It is an opportunity to give, be creative and flow. It will take time for you to find your own yoga ‘voice’ so the key is to learn from others but know that being who you really are and then communicating it is fundamental to success.
People who are ready to explore yoga will naturally be receptive to authentic openness and compassion. This is something you will constantly remind your students of, so start now.
This professionally accredited 200hr YLP Yoga Teacher training is supported by comprehensive online learning material and teaching assets. The modules are structured around 16 bespoke teaching booklets which together from a fully illustrated, detailed 500 - page manual designed and written by Mick.

How the YLP School Teacher Training works?
When you enrol you must have at least 12-18 months of personal yoga practice before commencing the YLP Teacher Training. Your personal practice does not need to be with the YLP.
The YLP online Teacher Training is based on 16 modules - one module/month. Each module will be explored in four interconnected weekly 'live' online in a seminar, workshop or lecture.
Each module will focus on a particular aspect of yoga and its teaching, from asana, pranayama, meditation, science and philosophy. Each module will be individually assessed. You will also need to maintain your own practice and in particular keep a YLP TTC practice log (provided).
On completion of the YLP online course you will then attend and participate in a YLP week long intensive retreat to fine tune your practice and teaching at our international practicum and graduation event.
Successful completion of all requirements defined and set out by the YLP Teacher Training online school we will give you a Certification to Teach Yoga as required by the Internationally recognised Yoga Alliance Professionals 200hr Programme enabling you to gain insurance and to teach, at Associate level.
